Fishing on Long Island Sound

First in a series of videos, Capt. Steve discusses the many lures than can be used to catch striped bass and other fish in Western Long Island Sound.

Wildlife and birds abound on Long Island Sound. In the winter, seals can be seen along the coast and in deep water. Native to shore and estuary and migrating in, herons, egrets, ospreys, geese, wild ducks and other animals and birds can be seen along the way. There are many inlets and pools in the area and with very shallow draft, Spider Hitch can navigate into these waters to get the shots. The ride is smooth and it is possible to hold the camera steady enough to get the good shots. Artists and photographers alike can enjoy the pleasure of capturing the scenery around them.
